Wade International Airport provides year-round flights to major U.S., Canadian and European hubs, including New York City, Boston, London and Toronto. A new passenger terminal, opened in December 2020, upholds the highest international aviation standards. Reach major cities like New York and Miami in under 3 hours and London in under 8 hours.

At just 21 square miles, Bermuda is also easy to navigate domestically. Whether travelling between St. George’s, Hamilton or Somerset Village, multiple transport options ensure a smooth journey:

  • Pink and Blue Buses – Operated by the Department of Public Transportation, these buses integrate with the island’s ferry service. With 11 routes and 14 zones, they’re easy to spot by their distinctive pink and blue stripes. Most buses depart from the Central Terminal on Washington Street, Hamilton.
  • Ferries – Running on a zone system, ferries connect over 10 dock locations across the island with 4 routes. Costs range from $3.50 to $5.00 per ride, mirroring bus fares.
  • Electric Scooters & Private Cars – Zip across the island on an electric scooter or drive your own private vehicle for added convenience.

Bermuda Captive Conference 2026

The Bermuda Captive Conference was created in 2004 to help promote, support and grow the island’s world-leading captive insurance industry sector. The conference is Bermuda’s largest and longest-running industry event, typically held every June, attracting over 550 delegates, half from overseas. Attendees include captive insurance owners, risk managers, sponsors, vendors, plus legal, audit, banking and support services from Bermuda, North America, Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the United Kingdom. With over 600+ active captive licences on its register, supporting primarily Fortune 500 corporations, and generating about $31 billion in annual gross written premiums.
