Industry Icon Brian Duperreault to Close Bermuda Risk Summit 2025 with Exclusive Seaside Chat

Hamilton, Bermuda, February 27, 2025: The Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA) is pleased to announce that Brian Duperreault, a legendary figure in the global insurance and reinsurance industries, will headline the closing session of the Bermuda Risk Summit 2025.

The Last Word: Brian Duperreault, an exclusive “seaside chat”, will take place on the final day of the Summit, offering attendees a rare opportunity to hear from one of the industry’s most influential leaders.

Duperreault’s participation at the Summit follows the market entry of his newest company, Mereo Insurance, and comes a week before the launch of his biography, Faith & Purpose: The Life & Vision of Insurance Icon Brian Duperreault.

The seaside chat will be led by President and CEO of the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR) John Huff. In addition to taking a look at Bermuda’s critical role as a global risk leader, the evolution of the re/insurance market, and Duperreault’s vision for the island’s future in the industry, Huff will invite Duperreault to provide some insight into Mereo’s plans as well as what’s covered in his biography.
