BDA Advances Bermuda’s Growth Strategy at Wealth Forum 

Hamilton, Bermuda – November 21, 2024 – The Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA) successfully facilitated the two-day Bermuda Wealth Forum, held at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London on 19th and 20th November. This intimate roundtable discussion convened industry leaders and decision-makers to explore Bermuda’s position as a premier destination for wealth preservation and growth.

Minister of Economy and Labour, The Hon. Jason Hayward, J.P., MP, opened the event with an insightful legislative update on Bermuda’s progressive family office framework, laying the foundation for productive discussions.

Moderated by BDA Managing Director Kendaree Burgess and Sheba Raza, Vice-Chair of The Bermuda Society, the Forum included contributions from a distinguished Bermuda delegation with expertise in trust and estate planning, private banking, regulation, and corporate concierge services. The delegation included David Vaness, Vice President at Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited; Neil Glass, Independent Non-Executive Director at WW Management; Ian Rumens, Head of Private Client at Ocorian; Lola Myshketa, Senior Vice President and Head of Private Banking at Clarien Bank; and Marquis Caines, Partner and Head of Portfolio at Diversity X.
