Bermuda Association of Licensed Trustees (BALT)
BALT is a representative body for companies licensed by the BMA to carry out trust and related business in Bermuda. It makes representations to the Government and delivers reports on trust legislation, fiduciary ethics, good practice and regulation of the industry. BALT also helps BDA promote existing international commerce and develop new business in Bermuda.

Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)
Bermuda STEP is the professional body for the trust and estate profession worldwide, with more than 13,000 members spanning the legal, accountancy, trustee, banking, and insurance sectors, plus related professions.

Bermuda Insurance Management Association (BIMA)
BIMA is an association of professional insurance managers and other captive service providers in Bermuda. Clients under management include more than 1,200 insurance and reinsurance companies.

Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA)
The BMA is the integrated regulator of the financial sector in Bermuda. It regulates Bermuda-based banks, trust companies, investment business, (re)insurance companies, and the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The BMA also issues Bermuda’s national currency, manages exchange-control transactions, and helps authorities detect and prevent financial crime.
